Women’s Entrepreneur Hub
Schaerbeek
This is a participatory project at SAAMO’s hub for undocumented women entrepreneurs in Schaerbeek. Through a series of collaborative workshops, we co-created an art installation on the front gate using plexiglass as our main material.
The installation celebrates women in victory and serves as a visual beacon of resilience, creativity, and joy. The project also fostered meaningful connections with neighbours while amplifying the voices of the women entrepreneurs.

Vision
To create meaningful connections between the hub and its neighbours, fostering dialogue and giving visibility to the project.
To empower women to feel rooted in their space and confident in their businesses.
Achievements
Stronger neighbourhood ties:
The project encouraged social cohesion, embedding the hub more firmly in the life of the surrounding community.
Belonging for women:
Participants felt greater connection to the hub, reinforcing their identity as entrepreneurs and as part of the neighbourhood.
Visibility in complexity:
The project brought recognition to undocumented women’s initiatives, creating space for dialogue and appreciation.
